OTDC stands for Online Theoretical Driving Course. It refers to a digital course designed to teach aspiring drivers the theoretical knowledge and principles of driving, required as part of the process to obtain a student driver’s permit.
Yes, Drivetech is proudly accredited as a trusted OTDC provider by LTO, ensuring top-quality driver education.
You can enroll in two simple ways: firstly, via our website or the Drivetech App for self-enrollment, and secondly, via any of our driving school partners accredited by the LTO.
The entire OTDC course comprises a total duration of 15 hours, covering both theoretical lessons and exams as required by the Land Transportation Office.
Our course is accessible on both mobile phones and personal computers, offering flexibility for convenient learning anytime, anywhere.
Upon successful completion of the OTDC course and passing the final exams, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is a pre-requisite for taking the final assessment exams at any of our driving school partners.
After obtaining the certificate of completion of the OTDC course, students must schedule and take a final assessment exam by visiting their chosen driving school.
After passing the final assessment exam at the driving school, students will receive a theoretical driving course certificate. The driving school will also upload their biometrics to complete the requirements for obtaining a student permit. Once these details are uploaded to the LTO system, students can then proceed to secure their student permit directly from the LTO.
